ويتضمن Podcast Producer 2 البرنامج الجديد لتشكيل الملف الصوتي من نوع mp3، الذي يجعل كامل عملية الإنتاج آلية، ما يسهّل خلق ملفات صوتية من نوع mp3 بأشكال جديدة وبحسب الرغبة. ومن خلال القيام ببعض النقرات، يخلق نظام Podcast Producer 2 تسلسلاً لإضافة بعض العناوين، والقيام بالتحويلات، وإضافة أشكال جديدة، وحفظها بالشكل المراد، وإرسال المعلومات إلى المواقع الإلكترونية التي تستخدم برامج wikis، وإلى البلوغات، و iTunes®، و iTunes U، وخادم Final Cut® ، والمكتبة الجديدة للملفات الصوتية من نوع mp3.
